Poffley Care.
Testimonial
Alice has been one of a team of PA's for my 91 year old husband for at least 2 years. She is an absolute rock, brilliant with him and very knowledgeable in all aspects of care. She is extremely reliable and full of ideas to make life easier. Alice has a great sense of humour and is easy to have around. I would highly recommend her.

Alice was called upon by our family to care for our father in an emergency. Alice came to the home that evening and started supporting the next day, she was just what the doctor ordered and they hit it off right away.
Alice goes above and beyond of what anyone would expect of a carer. She was on the on the phone to doctors at the hospital and contacted the social care team to come in and and assess Dads needs, she worked around the nurse's coming in and Dads hospital appointments. He had 3 visit a day. We couldn't have chosen any one better, Alice has been a godsend to us all.

Alice has been my 85 year old Dad's primary carer for four years, and we are incredibly grateful to have had her in our lives. She has taken on all sorts of responsibilities with professionalism and good humour - from assisting with my Dad's increasingly challenging physical needs, to managing medication and hospital appointments, as well as providing companionship and looking out for Dad's wellbeing, with a sense of fun and a twinkle in her eye. Alice has always communicated well with the rest of the family and I would not hesitate to recommend her to other families.

We feel very lucky to have met Alice.
Alice supports my husband who has had Parkinson's for 12 years. She takes him to Doctors & Dental appointments and on outings in the community, she is also helping him with Emails and keeping his study tidy.
Alice will always look out for jobs that need doing, it is very refreshing Alice does not have a job description, she will just do what ever is needed. she is sensitive to her clients needs and we feel very fortunate to have her help in these difficult times,. it gives us a chance to get through it all with good spirits.

Alice has been supporting my grandad for the last 2 years, as I, his LPA, live some distance away and he lost my grandmother in 2018 and he now lives alone. He has a number of health issues and also feels very lonely living on his own. Alice has supported him to all his health appointments and has fed back to me as my grandad often doesn't take the information in. She has also enabled him the opportunities to get out more and spend time with other people. Alice is a kind, warm and caring person who puts the people she cares for at the heart of her work. She regularly goes above and beyond to ensure my grandad is supported when it's needed, including spending countless hours at hospital waiting rooms and on the phone to healthcare professionals. My grandad has become incredibly fond of Alice and both he and myself have absolute confidence in her representing my grandads views and wishes. She has always kept me fully informed and has spent a lot of time discussing with both me and grandad the issues with his health and how to best support him. My grandads condition has now deteriorated and Alice has put together an excellent team of carers to make sure he can stay in his own home until the end. We speak on a daily basis when I'm not there, to ensure he's as comfortable as possible. In my grandads words "she's an angel" and I can't thank her enough for the care and support she gives!
